What is this mod about? “A Game of Thrones” (AGOT) is a full-conversion mod for Paradox Interactive’s Crusder Kings II (CK2).Set in the world of George R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire (ASoIaF) fantasy saga where lords great and small vie for control over the lands of Ice and Fire, from Westeros and the Seven Kingdoms in the west, to Qarth in the east. This mod Will add many of the Armors from my previous mod Game of Thrones - Followers. The only difference is I fixed a few problems with the Armors and took away all the Followers. This is a stand alone Armor Compilation. All Armor are craft-able and temper-able at the Forge and Workbench. I am no longer working on this mod.

The reason for this is because several of these assets come from other mod authors from whom I have requested permission. Many factions are replaced with Game of Thrones equivalents, and NPCs have had changes to their outfits. The mod was designed to be easy-to-install and with as few conflicts as possible.FeaturesThis is a list of things the mod includes:- Over 120 new items! (including some original armors by me)- New body-slider compatible meshes (e.g. 0 and 1 bodies for GoT Compilation Armors)- All weapons and armors are temper-able, and most have construction recipes- Each new item distributed to at least 1 NPC- Multiple faction outfits replaced with Game of Thrones equivalents- (Optional) Changes appearances of multiple NPCs to look like Game of Thrones equivalents- (Optional) Changes city banners to Game of Thrones equivalentsThis is a list of things the mod does NOT do:- No changes to level-lists- No changes to game-play mechanics- No changes to quests- No changes to dialogue or NPC namesFILESDownload AT LEAST the GoT - Main file.

The other 2 files are OPTIONAL.Main File (Required)The GoT - Main file is required for any of the other optional components of the mod. It adds armors and clothing to the game and distributes them among different factions and NPCs.Patch File (Required)After downloading the GoT - Main file, download the GoT - Patch file. It will write over the GoT - Main.esp file.Faces (Optional)The GoT - Faces file was created to change the faces of several NPCs to make them look like Game of Thrones equivalents (e.g. Elisif the Fair to Cersei).

Note: the names of NPCs have NOT been changed.Banners (Optional)The GoT - Banners file was created to change the banners of the various holds to their Game of Thrones equivalents (e.g. Windhelm to Stark).Cloaks (Optional)The GoT - Cloaks file is a patch for nivea's Winter is Coming - Cloaks mod so that outfits can be preserved.INSTALLATIONDownload the main file and copy the Data folder into the Skyrim directory. Afterwards, make sure you download the latest patch file, and over-write any files that are mentioned.

Once you have downloaded the main file and overwritten it with the patch file, you can download any optional files you like. All files can also be installed using the Nexus Mod Manager.

It seems like this mod was very rushed, not thought out, and simply unfinished and not updated. This is not meant to berade you, but to recommend ways for you to finish what you started. I will address some specific concerns:- Map is very very very small.

Martin's entire world is up for grabs here, but the map for this mod is so tiny. Westeros alone could be expanded four times as large in scale to include all the missing settlements.- Basing everything on Season 3. There are all of the books, plus now all 8 seasons of the show.

The mod is sooooo limited because it's based on Season 3. This mod would be so much better if you had included Essos and all the settlements there, the settlements north of the Wall, etc.- Blockish/cartoon like unit graphics. The texture of all units in the entire game is in a very early condition. When you compare the fine detail of this mod against the two Third Age and Elder Scrolls Total Wars, this mod doesn't have the same quality. When you right click on a unit, the information isn't even complete. No details or description, and even in 4.9 most units have no picture. Just the peasant in brown with a dagger.- Settlement upgrades.

Most Total War games allow the player to upgrade settlements after a certain population is reached. Third Age has some settlements marked 'Reduced building capabilities' because they are in heavy forest or the baren north. However, if I want to use my Lanister gold and upgrade my castles, I think I should be able to.- Building in each settlement.

Every single building, with the exception of some of the religious ones, is taken directly from Medieval 2. The pictures are the same, and the descriptions are the same. In Third Age and Elder Scrolls, new artwork was drawn that represented each building as it would appear in that particular culture. There should be more unique buildings as well the Citadel in Oldtown, the Sept of Baylor in Kings Landing, etc. I am sure that some of the moders are good at art and could have drawn out all this work.- Voiceovers. Mod team, you could have done this yourselves.

Record some voices rather than have everything (except the famous characters) using the stock soundbytes from England faction from Medieval 2. You all are creative enough, evident by your doing the mod in the first place. Pick a faction and try to do some authentic voiceovers.- Atlas. The Third Age mod team included the 'Atlas of Middle Earth' for each settlement on the map.

The paragraphs told you all about that settlement and its history. This would have been a great addition to your mod. Martin has his 'Fire and Blood' encyclopedia, which would have been great source material.- Major events.

Similar to the Oblivion invasion script from Elder Scrolls Total War, or for older reference the Mongols from Medieval 2, if this mod were updated to reflect the entire series, a script could be written for the White Walker invasion.Now that the show is over, can you guys bring this game to where it needs to be to compare equally with the other great mods? Can you reach out to the mod team for Third Age and Elder Scrolls and have them help out or provide recommendations and assistance? Like I said, I like the game right now.
