My deceptively simple setup is an Edgerouter Lite (not really revelant) which is the uplink for my newly purchased UniFi Switch 8 POE-60W, which again has a Unifi AP-AC-Lite connected on one of the PoE ports. The UniFi US-8 Switch provides flexible input options and a single PoE output. The switch may be powered by a power cord or PoE on port 1, and provides a single PoE output on port 8 that is dependent on input power. PoE Out is disabled by default, but can be activated in the UniFi Controller.

Unifi 8 Port Poe Switch
Plugged it into the network, powered up and used the Unifi controller to adopt the unit. Then plugged in a couple of PoE Unifi APs, the TV and NAS box - all worked perfectly from the start.Excellent bit of kit - great build quality and the software gives so much info on how your network is running, who is connect, where and for how long.
